I did a bit of riding today :) I'm going to try to take some more photographs when I'm riding to document my Vespa adventures. This time I went to visit Carstairs, small town 35km North from Airdrie. I don't really enjoy driving fast but the scooter was pretty good on 100km/h roads.

Day two of the Calgary PGA Golf Trade Show is done. Here is a photo of yours truly and one of the sample covers of the Chinook Golfer Magazine. With a little donation we were taking photos of people and creating magazine covers for them with fake headlines, etc.

Today and tomorrow I'm at the Calgary PGA Golf Trade Show. One of my clients, Chinook Golfer Magazine asked me to help them out by taking some photographs for them. Shots are simple and straight forward, but I'm still having fun :)

This morning I spent some time in my studio. On a couple of occasions, while photographing weddings in Calgary, I worked with a wonderful makeup artist Krista Ho Lem. Well today we had a little photo shoot with a model in my photo studio, where Krista did the makeup. Here are a couple of shots :) If you are looking for a makeup artist for your wedding day I strongly recommend Krista, she is great!

This Friday I was hired to take some photographs for a local Calgary band Telly playing at The Blind Beggar. This is a second time I photographed them and you can see some photos from my first time in my blog archives.

2010-03-22 20:41 Sergei Belski: Thank you very much guys! Glad you liked them :)
2010-03-22 20:11 Viktor: Really quality rock pictures! Great work, Sergei!
2010-03-22 17:05 Paul Rice: Nice work Sergei!!!! I Love the 1st shot, the lighting is great. Also like the last one and the keyboard player. (Not that the others aren't great too!)
2010-03-22 14:52 Tracy B!: OH MY GOSH!! I LOVE these photos--I think they are your best band shots yet! Were we at the same show? I don't know how you captured these shots in such a little & dark venue...

Here are a couple of photographs I did earlier today for SAIT and their skeleton sled project.

2010-03-18 13:25 Sergei Belski: Greg, no didn't put it all on my scooter. We had a car with us to cary all that stuff. Tracy, you and your colourful books :)
2010-03-18 10:18 Tracy B!: Wait--Did you change the 2nd picture since originally posting it? I swear it was different...perhaps it is my cold meds?! P.S. Love the colorful books!
2010-03-18 07:47 Greggy Baby: I actually think this pic looks kind of unique. I like the contrast. I am guessing it is for some sort on continuing education program. Did you pack all that stuff on your scooter? :)

I just came back from Calgary International Auto & Truck Show, I go every year, and always love it.

2010-03-13 07:06 Ekaterina: Nice pictures! The car show is great. We were volunteering there for the pre-opening night and got to see the cars with no crowds. So nice!
2010-03-11 17:22 Dawn : NICE TO SEE THE PIC OF MY DAUGHTERS, THANKS

I was sick for a while and didn't post anything here so I thought I would post a little something :) Yesterday the new issue of AirdrieLIFE magazine came out and one of my images was used on the cover. Also in this issue there is a special wedding LIFE section with some of my wedding photographs. They featured one of my weddings that I photographed a while ago of a local Airdrie couple. You can see more photographs from their wedding in this slideshow that I made for them.

There are many of my photographs in this issue, many of them you probably remember from my previous blog posts, and the magazine is an interesting read so for sure get a copy and check it out!

2010-03-09 21:05 Viktor: With pleasure I looked at the slideshow of this wedding again, great pictures! I think the couple will be glad to find themselves in the magazine.
2010-03-09 19:35 Violetta: I am so proud of you!!!
2010-03-09 12:56 Tracy B!: Wow-- That's great! Always makes me so proud of you to see your work published ;) And I am super excited for that couple that their wedding was included, how cool for them!

Yesterday was a wonderful day! Tracy's family and I spent some time in Edmonton, Visiting West Edmonton Mall for a couple of days. Of course we had to watch the Canada/USA Olympic hockey game. We watched it at a restaurant at the mall and finished in our room, you would be proud of me, I was wearing Canadian jersey :) Inspired by Canada's win we went ice skating and played some mini golf. Now we are off to do some swimming... as much as we can and than back home, to play some soccer in the evening. Busy weekend of relaxation :)
