About SERGEI BELSKI

Professional freelance photographer with over 20 years of experience covering a wide range of assignments including sports, corporate, editorial, and private events. My work has appeared in Sports Illustrated, ESPN, USA Today Sports, and numerous newspapers and magazines worldwide.

I have worked with a diverse range of clients including FortisAlberta, AirdrieLIFE Magazine, Imagn Images, the City of Airdrie, S&P Global, J. Vair Anderson Jewellers, Amplifon, Red Deer Polytechnic, Olds College, St. Mary’s University, Mount Royal University, the NBA, Pentagon Freight Services, and the Calgary Zoo.

Throughout my career I have photographed everything from intimate private celebrations to major international sporting events like World Cups and NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. From weddings and family sessions to executive portraits and large corporate events. My assignments have included World Cups, NHL Stanley Cup Playoff Finals, and Grey Cup events.

Based in the Calgary area, I regularly travel for assignments throughout Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, and also across Canada for destination weddings and editorial projects.

One of the things I value most about my work is the variety it brings. One day I may be photographing an NHL hockey game, the next a small birthday celebration, and the following day a large corporate event. That diversity keeps the work exciting and allows me to bring the same level of professionalism and creativity to every assignment.
