I was asked to post some photos and explain how I attached my top-case to my Vespa. I had a minute so I thought I would do a small blog post :) My top-case is GIVI TRK46N TREKKER and I have been packing the case with some pretty heavy items and rode in some bumpy conditions and so far its doing great! It takes only seconds to put it on or to take it off. I don't ride with it all the time but so far I ride with it more often than I thought I would :)

To attach the top-case to the scooter I purchased GIVI Monokey plate for Kawasaki KLR 650 motorcycle. Not necessary the best plate to use, but it was the only one they had at our local motorcycle shop. I used a couple of U-bolts to attach it to my Vespa rear rack. I had to cut the U-bolts a little to make them shorter, and file some plastic from the plate to get a perfect fit.

Here is a photo with a large full face helmet and a large motorcycle jacket fit nicely in the top case :)
