Earlier this week I photographed an event for St. Mary's University. Here are a few of my favourites :)

Right now I'm at Lake Louise, photographing Alpine Skiing FIS World Cup. On my way to the ski hill, from the lodge where I'm staying, I had to stop in the middle of the road to actually walk and see where the road was supposed to be because it was covered with so much snow and I couldn't see it.

Today was supposed to be a training run day, but because of all the snow, it was all cancelled. After transmitting a few story telling images I headed home. On my way back to the lodge I took a smaller road so I could take a few photos :)

I was lucky to see this beautiful owl and quick enough to get a shot of it :)

Parked for the night.. we will see how much snow we will get overnight :)

Here are just a few images I took at the last Calgary Flames game for USA TODAY Sports, when they played against Anaheim Ducks. In a few hours I'm starting to photograph Flames play against Chicago Blackhawks and I'm actually doing this blog post from the media room at the Saddledome :)

On Saturday I was hired to photograph a couple of basketball games at Olds college between Olds Broncos and STMU Lightning. I like photographing there, its a good venue with a pretty good light, so I was happy to do it :) Here are a few of my favourite photographs from the girls game.

The game started and the crowds went wild!! One thing I really don't like when I photograph college or high school games is dealing with empty stands :(

Last night I photographed NHL hockey game between Calgary Flames and Arizona Coyotes for USA TODAY Sports. It was a pretty good game and I was happy with the images I got :)

I was lucky enough that a pretty nice fight happened on my side of the ring preaty much right away :)

For this game I set up a remote camera over the net, I didn't get many great shots but I still ended up with a few keepers :)

Last week I was hired to capture a few hours of a birthday party at Fairmont Palliser hotel in Calgary.

Party had a few comedians performing.. I love standup and these guys were pretty good!

In the morning I photographed a Remembrance Day ceremony for the City of Airdrie. Here are a few of my favourite images from the event.

Earlier today I took a few corporate portraits.

So a week ago I headed to Edmonton to photograph NHL hockey game between Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks for USA TODAY Sports. Here are some of my favourite images from the game :)

Here are some of my photographs from the latest wedding I photographed in Calgary at the Carriage House Inn.

It was pretty nice not to have to drive anywhere for the ceremony and just be able to go downstairs :)

For our formal photographs we drove South to the Fish Creek Park.

For the reception we got back to Carriage House Inn. It is always great to photograph weddings with a proper wedding planner. This time it was a pleasure to work once again with Cathy from Creative Weddings Planning & Decor. Everything looked so great!

I love being creative with my wedding rings shots, I think these turned out pretty nice :)

Here are just a few of my photographs of the Calgary Flames vs Nashville Predators NHL hockey game that I photographed for USA TODAY Sports.

Photographing games at Halloween time is pretty fun, you see lots of cool costumes. I was shooting warmup from the Flames bench and I noticed this camera man all dressed up :)

For the second period I went down to shoot from the ice level. Here is another photo of the Saddledome staff member all dressed up for the Halloween :) I was disappointed to see that the ice girls crew didn't dress up this year, so no photos of them.

On Saturday we had a fun little birthday party for Oliver! We decided it will be great to make some pizzas and decorate some cupcakes at Kitchen Pantry in Calgary. Kids had a great time! Oliver is really into Planes lately so we decorated the place a bit for him :)

Oliver's friend Jacob, our little volunteer for cleanup duty :) Jacob was born on exactly the same day/year as Oliver... I think its pretty cool :)
