Here are a few of my favourite images from the latest game between Calgary Flames and Los Angeles Kings that I photographed for USA TODAY Sports.

For 8 years now its been a tradition of me taking a photo of our house with one of our vehicles in front of it. I took this photo from a little farther away, so it looks like the tree didn't grow much, but it did! This year we don't really have very much snow but still enough to prevent me from riding my Vespa :( This is not a new Vespa, but I noticed that I don't have an annual photo with it yet... so I guess its time :) Take a look at my previous photographs from 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008 and 2007.

Day 15: We made it home!!! Here are a few images I took on the flight from Orlando, FL :) Thank you very much for following my trip!

Day 14: Our last day at sea... we are on our way home! Oliver had a fun breakfast today.. one of the restaurants was all decorated in a Cat in the Hat theme.

Day 13: MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Another day, another country :) This time we woke up in Cozumel, Mexico. We docked next to another Carnaval cruise ship, it was interesting to see another ship that was identical to ours :)

Here is a photo of my camera bag. I usually use my ThinkTank Shape Shifter backpack when I travel for vacations or destination photo shoots. Today I packed Canon 1DX, 70-200mm F 2.8, 24-70mm F 2.8, 16-35mm F 2.8, some water, and swimming trunks. Of course a spare battery, memory cards and a bunch of small things as well.

We decided to visit Chankanaab National Park.

Day 12: In the morning we arrived to Grand Cayman, I have never been here so I was excited to see the place :)

It was interesting to watch little boats load and unload people from big cruise ships.. in total we had 6 cruise ships here today.. pretty busy if you ask me.

We loaded into a small boat that took us to the shore, it was pretty fun not docking.

Loading and unloading is a pretty big process.. so many people.

We thought we don't really have any money to buy anything and we don't really need anything... so we headed to the beach!

Oliver had a great time at the beach.. we were very happy that he wasn't scared of the sand anymore :)

The whole day we had some rain on and off.. we all had to hide in a bathroom when this big rain came :)

Abi is getting some much needed sunscreen on... when the sun is out.. it is hot here!

On our way home we got into a public bus where we were pulled over by the police because our driver was driving in a wrong lane. It was a pretty fun ride if you ask me :)

Once again standing in line, this time is to get back on the ship.. our bus ride took much longer so we were pretty late getting back.

Good bye Grand Cayman... next stop.. I think is somewhere in Mexico.. I guess we will see tomorrow... I leave the planning to Tracy so I don't really have to think where we are going :)

While Oliver was napping I got to enjoy a nice sunset and had a chance to read a little of my book :)

Day 11: Today was a day at sea and I found out that we should dock tomorrow in Grand Cayman.

Tracy, Oliver and I spent our morning walking around the ship, exploring and playing a few games.

Oliver tried very hard to win some money for us at the casino :)

I sat and read my book at the end of the ship while Oliver napped :)

Day 10: This morning I was only partially awake when Tracy told me that I'm lazy and I should go out and take photos because we were about to dock for our first stop at Key West, FL. She pushed me out of bed and I headed on to the deck. I didn't really take many photographs but I got a few nice sunrise pictures.

For the first time I was able to take a nice photo of our cruise ship.. here it is :)

We went for a little tour around the island on this little bus, but, unfortunately I didn't take any photos.

After lunch, after we got back on our boat, I was pretty tired so I found some shade and rested for a bit :) Yes I'm still reading my book that I was reading on my last vacation, what can I say, I only have a few minutes here and there to read, so it will last me for a while :)

I took some more photos when we were leaving the port. I love how different everything looks from high up :)

Next stop... I actually have no idea where our next stop is.. I guess it will be a surprise :)

Day 9: Earlier today we packed all the bags and headed to our next destination... we are going on a cruise ship, for the first time ever. This time we are doing a vacation with Tracy's side of the family :)

People gathered on the deck of the boat in front of us to watch all the cruise ships depart.

People were pretty excited to wave to our ship :)

Day 8: This was pretty much our view for the day.. a really boring drive from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale.

I have no idea what we packed for this vacation but the amount of bags we have is crazy!

While Oliver was taking his nap, I had to return our rental car... On my way there I stopped to see the ocean and took a little walk... We made it to the East coast!

Tomorrow we are going on a big boat :)

Day 7: Yesterday we went shopping and I took a day off from taking any photos, I didn't even take my camera with me... It was very hard to leave it behind :) Here are a few photographs from today's walk in a park in Orlando, FL.

Day 5: Early morning we drove to the cost for 2 hours to visit my sister's house in Venice, FL.

Having all these fruits in her yard is great but we also found this little guy in her yard. I'm pretty happy we don't have to deal with this in our yard in Canada... Snakes and I are not really friends :)

After Oliver had a nap like a king we were ready to have some fun :)

Day 4: Everything is awesome! We spent our day entertaining Oliver at Legoland... fun fun fun!

Day 3: I didn't wan't to leave florida without a few photographs of alligators, so in the morning we visited Wild Florida's Gator Park :)

It is pretty cold around here in the evenings but the swimming pool is heated, so it was pretty nice to relax a bit at the end of the day :)

Day 2: Time with my family today, mostly just around our place where we are staying and also a visit to Downtown Disney. Oliver took the photo below of grandma taking a photo of him :)

Day 1: Our Florida adventures begin. Early morning we left this cold and miserable weather and headed somewhere warmer.. Orlando, Florida!

Oliver has only a few flights under his belt but he landed us safely in Orlando :)

So for the last two weeks I was in Lake Louise, photographing Alpine Skiing FIS World Cups for USA TODAY Sports. First it was men and for the last week it was women's turn. I photographed the finish line area... not much action, but I did my best to show it all :) There were three training run days followed by 3 race days. Here are some of my favourite images I took throughout the week in no particular order.

This whole thing was a Lindsey Vonn show.. Publications use all kinds of photos of her, at the lodge, on a chairlift, walking around, etc.

Rescuers use a helicopter to airlift Ramona Siebenhofer of Austria after her fall.

Marianne Abderhalden of Switzerland falls right before the finish line on one of her runs.

This was all American podium, I don't think it happens very often. Shooting this event for the USA Today, I was pretty happy :)

Right now I'm in Lake Louise, photographing Alpine Skiing FIS World Cups for USA TODAY Sports. I was scheduled to photograph training day runs as well as the races, but when I arrived the weather was pretty bad and most of the training was canceled. This year I'm covering the finish area of the races. Here are my favourite photographs from the men's Downhill and Super G World Cups.

I spent mornings photographing racers on the bottom of the hill.

The sun came out the day of the races and I was happy!
