Earlier today, for the third year in a row, I was hired to photograph Roots of Empathy event in Calgary. At the event mayor of Calgary Naheed Nenshi said that he is a politician and there are babies so of course he would be there :) Here are a few of my favourite photographs from the event.

Yesterday I was hired to take a few photographs of Kent Hehr, Minister of Veterans Affairs. Minister Hehr was at an event in Calgary and it was interesting for me to experience working for Canadian government for the first time :)

Last week I spent a day at the Calgary Zoo taking photographs of animals. Here are a few of my favourites :) I didn't get all of the photographs I was hired to get so I think I'm going to spend more time at the zoo again shortly, hope animals will cooperate better this time.

One of the reasons I was at the Zoo this time is to get a few photographs of the Behind the Scenes with Rinos.

Day 2 and the final day of our Vancouver road trip. We decided to do some exploring of the Granville Island. I really thought the market was awesome but the rest of the island was a bit of a let down... although I may have been just tired :)

After exploring a few streets of Vancouver we headed to see Stanley Park.

I love Olympics so it was great to finally visit this place :)

For dinner we stopped at Cactus Club Cafe, where we had to wait a while to be seated but the food was excellent!

There is no secret that I love Vancouver :) Road trip time! I have been to Vancouver a few times but this is the first time we traveled together as a family :)

Day 1: First activity of the day is to go to marina and rent a boat for some relaxing on the water :)

It was time for lunch.. we headed to Capilano Suspension Bridge park to get some food and to have some fun in the trees :)

It was great to spend the day with my good friend Damian, looks like we both got a memo to wear all blue :)

We had a wonderful dinner at my friend's house where Oliver had a chance to show off his musical talents :)

Here are a few of my photographs from an event that I photographed last week for the City of Airdrie.

Earlier today I was at the Calgary Zoo for a business meeting but I couldn't just leave without taking a few photographs of animals :)

Oliver's daycare Kids and Company has a travelling teddy bear that comes home with a different child each day for the evening and returned the next day. Each child gets a turn and today was Oliver's turn. As you can imagine, Oliver was very excited and I took a few photographs of them doing some activities around our house :)

Another corporate event for Fortis Alberta... This time in the town of Olds. Not as fancy as the last couple of events I photographed but, as always, I had a great time :) Here are a few of my favourite images.

What a hot hot day today.. Did a fun ride on my Red Donkey around Calgary with the Apocalypse Scooter Club :)

Some fuel for me before the ride... a little cheeky coffee and a bagel at Caffe Beano :)

It was great to see a good amount of large Vespas out for this ride, my bike was in a good company!

Finished my ride with a pretty nice sunset :)
