Last week I photographed Convocation 2013 for St. Mary's University College at St. Mary's Cathedral. Here are a few photographs from the event :)

On Saturday I photographed an event here in Airdrie for Fortis Alberta. It was a very nice event and I would for sure bring Oliver when he is a bit older :)

Bucket rides were very popular :)

There were some nice birds to look at and even to hold some for photos :)

I got up in a bucket to get an overall view of the event.

Day 11: Some food for Oliver in the lobby before we go and we are on our long way home :)

Great vacation but it is good to be home :) Now back to my usual blog posts :)

Day 10: I have been eating crepes with bacon almost every morning, very tasty! :)

We basically spent our last day in Dominican Republic at the beach, just laying in the shade and some swimming in the ocean :)

They really know how to make nice seafood here. Here is a photo of a part of my lunch.

Day 9: I left my family behind and went for a long walk on the beach (about 2.5 hours).

I made it to a shopping area, some of the shops are so close to the water they have to have sandbags to try to keep waves out.

I made it back when the sun was setting and was very happy to see Tracy and Oliver waiting for me by the pool :)

My parents are heading home so I thought we would get a group photo together. Tracy, Oliver and I have one extra day here, probably going to just relax by the ocean :)

Day 8: Oliver is asleep while I'm making my blog post and checking my emails in the lobby :)

My sister always takes photographs of her holding on to any bush, tree, etc at every place, so we thought we would take a photo of Oliver holding on to a leaf for her :)

Day 7: Another day at the resort, water is great, food is awesome, having a great time!

In the evening I did my best to setup my camera so my mom, and then Tracy, can take a few photographs of our little family :)

The food here is great! I don't know how fat I am now but I will worry about it later, for now I just keep eating it all :)

Day 6: This morning Tracy, Oliver, and I headed to Higuey for a little trip, for us to see something other than our resort and for me to take some photographs :)

Streets are full of these little motorbikes, makes me miss my Vespa :(

A quick stop to feed Oliver. You can see my Think Tank Shape Shifter backpack, it has been working out great for this trip to carry all my camera gear and my laptop, very happy with it!

Day 5: Nothing really new today, we pretty much spent the whole day at the pool :) Here are a couple of shots from one of the restaurants here at the resort, where we had lunch today.

I took some evening shots of our resort. We are staying at "Majestic Elegance" in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The pool wasn't lit up, so at first I was disappointed, but then with a nice reflection it worked out pretty good. This is the building we are staying in :)

Day 4: Just another day at our resort. Earlier today my dad and I did some exploring on the beach, didn't really find anything interesting but it was still nice to go for a long walk.

Off to the swimming pool we go :) I love the swimming pool here, the water is super warm, great for Oliver to swim in :)

As soon as we got to our room it starting to rain and it rained very hard for about 5 minutes, love these tropical rains, they come fast and leave fast.

Day 3: Part of my breakfast, I don't even remember how many of these I ate, very tasty :) Pancakes with fish eggs :)

Day 2: We didn't really do very much today, in the morning spent time at the pool and in the afternoon went out for a walk and swim in the ocean. Having a great family time :)
