DAY 2: Today we rode for 927km! The weather finally improved :) Today was a big day of riding. Vespa is running great and we did many kilometres... we managed to make it all the way to Portland, Oregon. Three states in one day, so far so good!

DAY 1: Total for today - 453km. Not a very pleasant ride today, it was poring rain, temperatures +7C and sometimes dropping to only +5C. Didn't take many photos, its not an easy thing to do when you all wet and cold :( We made it to Cranbrook, BC.

I photographed a great wedding yesterday, and got many wonderful photographs! I'm off on a big road trip and will post more photographs as soon as I'm back, but I thought I would post a couple of images for now :)

I am not alone in the Universe :) I parked with another Vespa earlier today at SAIT when I was doing some head shots. It's interesting how it makes you feel good to park close to the same vehicle as yours :)

I just came back from GlobalFest Fireworks. I liked tonight's fireworks the best so far.

I had a quick photo shoot for SAIT this morning.

Yesterday Tracy and I went to see some fireworks at GlobalFest. Still the best fireworks you can see... if you want to see fireworks only once a year, this would be it! You can see a couple of shots from last year's fireworks on my older post :)

I did some riding around downtown Calgary today, exploring some urban photo locations for the future photo shoots. I found some nice ones. It is very easy to explore on my little Vespa, I can go pretty much anywhere and can stop almost everywhere :)

A couple of Vespa accessories arrived earlier today :) I purchased a fly screen and a front rack for my scooter. After installing them I went for a little ride and it is great! What a difference the fly screen made, I can now ride relaxed on my longer/faster rides.

Here are some photographs from a wedding I photographed yesterday. We stayed around Airdrie for our wedding photographs and had a great time!

The food was wonderful! I loved that instead of formal dinner they had tons of different little hors d'oeurves. Such a great idea! I also loved Balzac Community Hall for the wedding reception, very nice little place!

This morning I did some photographs in my photo studio. I was hired by Renae Hill to take high resolution digital photographs of her paintings. It was a pretty interesting project, and she has some amazing work!

DAY 3: Well, we finally made it home from our adventures :) Tracy rode on the back of my scooter with me for more than 100km so that was awesome! From Fernie, BC we took a long way home... soaking in hot springs for a bit and having a wonderful day of riding. All together I rode 1,335 km on my scooter this trip and it is now officially my longest ride :)

DAY 2: Wow! What a day! My little Vespa finally made it to Montana, USA :) There are lots of highlights from this day such as riding in hail and pouring rain, riding through the fog, swimming in a very cold lake, etc. Unfortunately our trip had to be cut short, we couldn't find any place to stay overnight. We called every hotel in the nearest 4 or 5 towns and couldn't get anything :( ... so we drove through the night and made it to Fernie, BC where we were finally able to find a room.

The drive through Glacier National Park was unbelievable, for sure the best ride I did so far on my scooter! Riding there really reminded me of a documentary "Riding Solo on Top of the World".

DAY 1: This morning Tracy and I and our friends Charmaine and Greg left for a road trip. Greg and I on our bikes and girls following in a car :) Great day of riding today, the weather was perfect and we made it to Waterton Lakes National Park.

Last weekend I photographed Jason and Brianne's, wedding at Heather Mountain Lodge in Golden, British Columbia. On the wedding day we had a beautiful weather and I had a wonderful time! Also, if you would like, click on the link to take a look at some of their engagement photographs that I took back in October 2009.

Jason and Brianne hired a comedian for the entertainment at the reception. His name is Brian Stollery and he was awesome, very funny, and I think it was a great idea!

I spent a wonderful weekend in Golden, British Columbia photographing Bri and Jay's wedding. Wedding photographs will follow very soon but for now here are some of the photographs from a white water rifting trip earlier this morning. The couple and some of their friends and family went on the Wet 'n' Wild Adventures rafting trip and asked me to document their adventure... I was very happy to help :)
