Day 2 and the final day of our Vancouver road trip. We decided to do some exploring of the Granville Island. I really thought the market was awesome but the rest of the island was a bit of a let down... although I may have been just tired :)

After exploring a few streets of Vancouver we headed to see Stanley Park.

Somebody is not going to be happy when they come back to their parked car :(

I love Olympics so it was great to finally visit this place :)

For dinner we stopped at Cactus Club Cafe, where we had to wait a while to be seated but the food was excellent!

There is no secret that I love Vancouver :) Road trip time! I have been to Vancouver a few times but this is the first time we traveled together as a family :)

Day 1: First activity of the day is to go to marina and rent a boat for some relaxing on the water :)

It was time for lunch.. we headed to Capilano Suspension Bridge park to get some food and to have some fun in the trees :)

It was great to spend the day with my good friend Damian, looks like we both got a memo to wear all blue :)

We had a wonderful dinner at my friend's house where Oliver had a chance to show off his musical talents :)

Oliver's daycare Kids and Company has a travelling teddy bear that comes home with a different child each day for the evening and returned the next day. Each child gets a turn and today was Oliver's turn. As you can imagine, Oliver was very excited and I took a few photographs of them doing some activities around our house :)

Earlier today we did a little family trip to Canmore, AB. Here are a few photographs of my little guy Oliver :)

I loaded some of my camera gear in my trusted Luigi the Fiat and headed toward mountains. Yesterday my friend Gord and I spent a day at Johnston Canyon in Banff National Park, hiking and taking photographs.

I came on this trip to basically have a nice little hike, spend some time with a friend and take a few photographs. But I had this image in mind and I was hoping we can get it.. here it is, I think it worked out pretty nice :)

Tracy, Oliver and I spent today at Easter Eggstravaganza event at the Calgary Zoo with some of our friends. Very nice event with so many activities for the children, we had a great time! Here are a few of my favourite images from the event :)

I love car shows! Yesterday I spent more than 6 hours at The 2016 Calgary International Auto & Truck Show... Great show and I had lots of fun, if you love cars, don't miss it!

I'm for sure a Land Rover guy and I was happy to spend some time hanging out with my favourite cars... I'm sure one day I will have a Land Rover once again.

I wouldn't be caught dead in this Lexus but it looked great for the auto show :)

Tracy and I got married 8 years ago on February 29th... Well, yesterday was our 2nd official wedding anniversary. I wanted to do something more special so we packed for a surprise weekend trip.

After we got properly caffeinated we headed to the mountains :)

Stopped in Banff to stretch our legs and to get something to eat.

I visited Lake Louise many times, I photographed weddings, engagements here, corporate and sporting events, but over the years I never actually stayed at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise... Well today is the day, we are staying at the Chateau for this little trip :)

Tracy and I talked about trying snowshoeing on multiple occasions and I thought this would be a great place to finally try it. So after renting some snow shoes we went for a hike on a frozen lake :) We had a blast! I would totally recommend it to anyone, snowshoeing is underrated. We had Oliver in a carrier on our back and as soon as I started to carry him, he fell asleep and had a nice nap :)

Hotel found out that we are here for our wedding anniversary and we had a nice surprise bottle of wine in our room for us when we got back :)

The next morning we woke up to see some fresh snow :)

I love this hotel, service here is awesome. Little toothpastes in the change room, nice touch :)

Before heading home, we decided to go for a nice horse sleigh ride by the lake :)

One last stop in Canmore to get some food and we are almost home :)

The weather today was great, so, as millions of other Calgarians, I decided to go and take some photographs at the Calgary Zoo.

Not all my shots are perfect, unfortunately... I had a great time with owls, they were flying around and I had to quickly get out of the way. Here is one of these not so perfect shots, when I forgot to focus :)

I was taking photographs of animals for about an hour until my little guy showed up and I pretty much just spent some time with my family and didn't take many photographs after that.

Today I was invited to have lunch with my friend in Calgary... we had some nice views to enjoy :)
