My friend Greg and I took our bikes and rode to Drumheller to visit Royal Tyrrell Museum. We met up with Charmaine and Tracy there and had a great picnic with a view :) Wonderful day :)

Still working on my latest engagement photographs but I thought I would post a photograph of my Vespa that I took on my way home from playing soccer tonight :)

Yesterday evening I had a great engagement photo shoot in Banff National Park. I decided to leave earlier and ride my Vespa to visit British Columbia for a bit. It was a great trip and I loved every minute of it. The temperatures really varied from +26C to +6C. It was pouring rain on multiple occasions, I think I encountered some hail once, but I was prepared with my rain gear and had a great ride :) Engagement photographs soon to follow :)

2010-06-16 09:03 Sergei Belski: You should buy a scooter :) They selling my orange scooter of a very very good price at Walt Healy :)
2010-06-16 05:15 Shelley: Your pictures really make me want to go out and buy a scooter! I don't check your blog for a few days and there is a ton of new pics :-)
2010-06-15 22:06 Sergei Belski: Thank you! I'm working on it :) Its so easy with my scooter, I'm sure I will have tons of photos :)
2010-06-15 21:57 Art Yochim: Sergei, these are great. You should put a coffee table book together when you have enough photos.

Home at last :) Today I did another long ride on my Vespa. This time I headed home. In total, on this trip, I rode for 1300 km and it was wonderful! I didn't unpack all the way yet and I'm already looking forward to a new trip, this time maybe somewhere in British Columbia :)

2010-06-17 10:43 Sergei Belski: Cathy, in my opinion every photographer should have one :)
2010-06-16 21:46 Cathy: I want one! :( Sorry for the random comment... just came across your blog and I love your work. I also have a dream that one day I will have a beige Vespa with pink racing stripes. Sigh.
2010-06-07 15:16 Sergei Belski: Thank you very much Arthur! Selling to Vespa... will see how it will go, for now I'm happy to document my little adventures :) I'm planning on having a little book in the future and have some little ideas but nothing concrete for now. I have been to Saskatchewan on multiple occasions, to photograph weddings, family portraits, and to visit my wife's family. I like it there!
2010-06-07 14:54 Art Yochim: Wow! Fantastic! I love your Vespa series. Have you considered selling these to Vespa? How did you like Saskatchewan? I am from there originally. So much quieter than central Alberta.

Just a relaxing day in Saskatoon :) I did a little city riding, its so beautiful around here with all the big trees on every street! In the morning I made an organic spicy omelet on my little portable stove, turned out to be better than I thought it would be :)

2010-06-03 11:59 Mandu: Nice to see that you guys are "roughing" it in dad's backyard.... NERDS!!!!

Yesterday morning I packed my things and headed to Saskatoon. When I was buying my scooter I was thinking of taking it on a longer trips and this trip was one of the trips I was thinking about :) With all the stops on my way to take photographs I made it here in 9.5 hours. I rode about 600km so far and it was great!

Before this trip I bought a MSR Fuel Bottle to carry some extra gas with me. A couple of times I almost ran out of gas, and I know its not much, but I felt better having this bottle with me :)

2010-06-03 10:54 Randy Santa-Ana: Just marvelous images, Sergei! I wish I am as adventurous as you are! A Vespa truly fits your lifestyle!
2010-06-03 06:26 Sergei Belski: Thank you Arthur! I feel about the same about my Vespa photos... similar to that gnome :) Well Everyone, I did calculations and so far after traveling 603km, I used 22.5 litres of gas and spent $24.38.
2010-06-02 21:34 Art Yochim: Sergei, I love your series of Vespa pictures. Kind of like the travels of the Travelocity Gnome. I especially liked the picture in front of the granaries in this Saskatchewan sequence.
2010-06-02 11:11 Sergei Belski: Thank you Brent! So far so good.. but I think it will be raining on my way home.. I guess I will wait and see... but it will be fun anyway :)
2010-06-02 08:50 Brent: Fabulous as usual.. bet it was a fun ride. Hope the weather stays good for you!

This morning I took my Vespa to the shop for its first service appointment. On my way home I found this nice place with a bunch of school busses, I thought it looked pretty interesting with a nice dark sky :) Busy weekend coming up, I'm photographing a big hockey tournament for the next 4 days... wish me luck :)

Just came back from a wonderful family/grad photo shoot at Fish Creek Park in Calgary. Because it was so close to my parents house I decided to stop by and see my mom. This is a photo of my Vespa in front of their garage, I love that bush full of flowers :) I will post photographs from the photo shoot soon.

It will be a busy week for me, I have some photo shoots and than a wedding to photograph in Penticton, BC on Saturday. Today was a relaxing day with Tracy and our friends! In the morning we visited Body Worlds & The Brain at the Telus World of Science... it was great, very interesting exhibit! In the afternoon my friend Greg and I went for a ride on our bikes. I'm happy that Greg still rides with me because I stop so much to take pictures :) Although my Vespa can go pretty fast, my style of riding is slow. I like stopping for photographs, like exploring different farm roads and finding where they lead.

2010-05-17 06:49 Tracy B!: Love the sunset picture, your new Vespa is starting to take on it's own persona and feel a bit animated finally--not as much as the Orange one, but better then before ;)
