Last week I volunteered some of my time to photograph this volunteer event with the City of Calgary and Calgary Mountain Bike Alliance, where people were making some new bike pathways in a park.

Here are a few of my photographs from last week's Convocation event that I photographed for St. Mary's University at St. Mary's Cathedral in Calgary. I already took photographs of some details and students getting ready for an hour or so, but I will start my blog post from the actual ceremony. I love photographing this event and this was my fourth year doing it. I always try to capture it from as many angles as I can to tell the story.

Party had a few comedians performing.. I love standup and these guys were pretty good!
