Day 8: Oliver is asleep while I'm making my blog post and checking my emails in the lobby :)

My sister always takes photographs of her holding on to any bush, tree, etc at every place, so we thought we would take a photo of Oliver holding on to a leaf for her :)

Day 7: Another day at the resort, water is great, food is awesome, having a great time!

In the evening I did my best to setup my camera so my mom, and then Tracy, can take a few photographs of our little family :)

The food here is great! I don't know how fat I am now but I will worry about it later, for now I just keep eating it all :)

Day 6: This morning Tracy, Oliver, and I headed to Higuey for a little trip, for us to see something other than our resort and for me to take some photographs :)

Streets are full of these little motorbikes, makes me miss my Vespa :(

A quick stop to feed Oliver. You can see my Think Tank Shape Shifter backpack, it has been working out great for this trip to carry all my camera gear and my laptop, very happy with it!

Day 5: Nothing really new today, we pretty much spent the whole day at the pool :) Here are a couple of shots from one of the restaurants here at the resort, where we had lunch today.

I took some evening shots of our resort. We are staying at "Majestic Elegance" in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The pool wasn't lit up, so at first I was disappointed, but then with a nice reflection it worked out pretty good. This is the building we are staying in :)

Day 4: Just another day at our resort. Earlier today my dad and I did some exploring on the beach, didn't really find anything interesting but it was still nice to go for a long walk.

Off to the swimming pool we go :) I love the swimming pool here, the water is super warm, great for Oliver to swim in :)

As soon as we got to our room it starting to rain and it rained very hard for about 5 minutes, love these tropical rains, they come fast and leave fast.

Day 3: Part of my breakfast, I don't even remember how many of these I ate, very tasty :) Pancakes with fish eggs :)

Day 2: We didn't really do very much today, in the morning spent time at the pool and in the afternoon went out for a walk and swim in the ocean. Having a great family time :)

Day 1: First big trip with Oliver for our family :) Travaling with baby, well, its interesting. We packed like we never packed before and headed to the airport for our Dominican Republic vacation :)

Tracy is fully loaded at Calgary International Airport (sadly we lost that pillow somewhere in Dominican Republic in the first hour of our arrival).

Oliver is meeting his grandparants for the first time :)

We were super tired and didn't really do anything other than eat and walk around a bit. This is our room for this vacation, not too bad.

Today is Oliver's 6 month birthday :) Tracy took Oliver for his first swimming lesson and I took a few photographs.

Yesterday I spent some time with my family and a few friends at Calgary Motorcycle Show. It was a good show and I'm already looking forward to the next year's show :)

Oliver found a little Honda scooter that fits him just right :)
