Just a little personal post... Today Tracy, Oliver and I went to the Science Centre for Tracy's company kids Christmas party.

Oliver had a great time... he met Santa for the first time, got a present, and played on the playground :)

Last weekend we went for a little family trip to Radium, BC where we met up with Tracy's family for our annual Christmas mini vacation :) This was the first time we traveled this far with our little Oliver and he did great!

Our view... not bad at all!

It was so nice to hang out with our little man, he didn't cry much, slept good and was all around a good boy :)

This was the view the next morning when we woke up... so much snow! Tracy and I bundled up Oliver in his oversized winter suit and went out for a little walk :)

We (actually, Oliver) got too many presents and we had a hard time fitting it all in our car :)

Decorated our tree outside, just in time for all the snow we are getting. Sad to see that I probably not going to be riding my Vespa for a while :(

Just a little personal blog post with mostly photographs from my iPhone :) On October 29th, 2012 our son Oliver was born :) He is a very cute, nice little baby and we love him very much! We finally got him home yesterday after spending four days in the hospital. I also have been posting some photographs while we were in the hospital on My Life in Pictures site if you would like to see a few more.

Today our friend Greg, Tracy and I did a bike trip from Banff, AB to Canmore, AB and than all the way back. Pregnant Tracy did great and I was very proud of her, she only got tired at the very end. All together we rode for 25 km... not bad for our little folding bicycles :)

Day three... Another long day on the bike, in total this weekend I rode for 1,280 km... fun, fun, fun! We couldn't ask for a better weather for our trip! After seeing the sign below I really wanted to just make a turn and keep going to Alaska, well maybe someday soon I will make that trip :)

Here are our friends in front of me, later in this trip my travel companions left me because I was stopping too much to take photographs... for a few hours I traveled by myself and caught up with them having lunch.

I had to stop and take a photo of this craziness. Ok, I understand, seeing wild animal is exciting.. but people do you need to hold your children in front of the wild elk for a photo? Something will spook him and you never know what he will do. Plus traffic jam that this causes.. don't get me started. We saw this elk three days in a row, he just hangs out by the lake on the way to Hinton, AB.

Day two... We woke up to a not so nice looking morning. It rained at night and still was raining a bit when we woke up, but luckily for us the rain stopped by the time we got out of the hotel. Today's plan was to drive around Jasper National Park, take some photos and enjoy touristy things :)

Jasper National Park is such a beautiful place, full of animals and great landscapes!

We took Jasper Tramway up to the top, its for sure my favourite from any gondola places that I ever took. If you are in the area, I really recommend it!

I'm on top of the World! Well not really but I still could feel harder breathing at this altitude, when we were hiking higher :)

We finished our busy day with a nice visit to hot springs and a nice dinner... Tomorrow is a long way home!

Two scooters, one motorcycle and one car... we are on the road again :) Tracy and I and a couple of our friends are on a little trip to the Jasper, AB area. Day one.. we were on the road for 14 hours, driving and stopping to take photos. Very long day and by the end of it I struggled to put my heavy loaded scooter on its stand, but so far so good :) We made it to Hinton, AB and staying here for 2 nights. Today should be a day to explore around here and see this beautiful park :)

Tracy and I went to the Calgary Stampede today... we didn't really spent very much time there, just looked around and I tried some interesting food. Bellow photos of some things I ate, deep fried cheesecake and a cup full of beef bacon :) I have to mention that parking on my Vespa was great! I parked for free in a $30 parking lot and maneuvering through all the traffic was so much easier than driving a car.

My friend Greg and I decided to go for a day trip on our motorbikes today. We ended up going to Bragg Creek area here in Alberta... It was a beautiful day and we had a great time! My LittleGuy was very happy to run around, just for fun, for the second day in a row :)

It's good that I have a bit an off road type of tire on the back of my scooter because for about 35 kilometres the road turned into a gravel road with some pretty steep hills.
