Tracy and I went to the Calgary Stampede today... we didn't really spent very much time there, just looked around and I tried some interesting food. Bellow photos of some things I ate, deep fried cheesecake and a cup full of beef bacon :) I have to mention that parking on my Vespa was great! I parked for free in a $30 parking lot and maneuvering through all the traffic was so much easier than driving a car.

JULY 2, 2012 | MY VESPA ADVENTURES | DAY TRIP TO BRAGG CREEK

My friend Greg and I decided to go for a day trip on our motorbikes today. We ended up going to Bragg Creek area here in Alberta... It was a beautiful day and we had a great time! My LittleGuy was very happy to run around, just for fun, for the second day in a row :)

It's good that I have a bit an off road type of tire on the back of my scooter because for about 35 kilometres the road turned into a gravel road with some pretty steep hills.

Thank you! Yes gravel is for sure not my favourite, but taking it slow is not that bad :) This was a pretty nice ride :)

Have followed you on your site and must say that I am glad that you got full riding gear. 12 inch tires on dirt and gravel is brave but it appears you have some riding under your belt now and feel comfortable. Keep riding and enjoy your pictures.

JUNE 7, 2012 | FLORIDA VACATION

Yesterday was a pretty long day for us... we visited my sister for a day in Venice, Florida... it was great to see her and she took us to see a bunch of her favourite spots... Great to have a local tour guide :) The weather is still not the best, raining and cloudy pretty much all the time, I guess its not too hot this way.

Seeing any fin when swimming in the ocean is not the greatest feeling! Here we saw a bunch of dolphins catching fish, it was very interesting to see them do it!

I don't think my sister's little dog will win any awards for his looks but he is very cute and I really like him :)

After swimming it was raining so I left my big camera in the car and only brought my little wide angle GoPro... Of course at this point we saw an alligator and for the first time in my life I saw an armadillo. You should have seen how close I got to them to take some shots :)

At the end of the day we visited famous Siesta Beach in Sarasota, Florida... the sand was very very nice but I wasn't very impressed, I guess I just prefer smaller, more private beach.

For the last two days we were just relaxing at my parents house, swim, and walk on the beach... I mostly took a mini vacation from my camera :)

This morning we visited Clearwater Marine Aquarium, home of the dolphin from "Dolphin Tale" movie. It was interesting to see the dolphin in person, and everything else from the movie :) It was also nice to hear the real story of the dolphin.

Tracy and I are visiting my parents in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida. Today was just a relaxing day... we ate some nice food and my dad and I did some fishing... I'm still better than him at fishing!
