Earlier today I photographed an event for SAIT Polytechnic at the Art Smith Aero Centre. It started as a regular event with some speeches but than the main guest arrived... B-17 Flying Fortress heavy bomber :)

It was raining and I wasn't very happy shooting in the rain, but lucky for me, the rain stopped and I had a great time. A few lucky press members did go up for a short flight and I had to settle for just a look inside of the airplane... that was still pretty cool :)

When B-17 took off, I wished I brought my 400mm lens with me, but I didn't, so I had to make do with x1.4 converter and crop, crop, and crop again :)

Earlier today I was hired to photograph a corporate Stampede party in Calgary. Here are a few shots :)

Yesterday I photographed School of Business Awards ceremony at SAIT Polytechnic.

Once again this year I was invited to photograph MacPhail School of Energy Annual Student Awards Ceremony at SAIT Polytechnic. It was a pretty straight forward event and l enjoyed photographing it :) Here are a few images from the evening.

Last night I had a pleasure to photograph President's Dinner event for St. Mary's University College held at Heritage Park Historical Village Gasoline Alley Museum. I love photographing events like this, specially when I have freedom to be creative and just document what I see :) Here are a few images from the event.

Yesterday I spent my evening photographing an event for SAIT Polytechnic, where SAIT presented the annual Distinguished Alumni and Outstanding Young Alumni awards. Here are a few of my favourite images showing the event.

My last penguin related blog post, at least for a while :) A couple of days ago I was invited by the Calgary Zoo to photograph a penguin exhibit official opening event for them. It was a nice event to photograph with many people in attendance and of course it was great to see the penguins :)

For the opening ceremony, instead of cutting of a ribbon, they had an ice breaking :)

Look at the fish size that penguin is trying to eat. It was interesting to watch them getting their food.
