Because we are so close to The Mayan Ruins at Tulum we decided to go and see them... for sure not as good as Mayan Ruins Of Chichen Itza, not even close. Still, we had a good time, and its a pretty good place to take some iguana photographs :)

Hey, my first post that doesn't have a photo of a pelican in it :) Another great day of relaxation for us, I finally did go swimming, although the water wasn't the warmest. I'm usually not a very big breakfast person but breakfast here is very good... 2 eggs on the left are for my breakfast :)

We are staying at the Dreams Tulum Resort and I must admit, I'm not very impressed with the buffet restaurant's food... but the food in other restaurants is excellent! Here is a nice pizza we had for lunch by the swimming pool :)

Nothing really new today... Tracy and I just did lots of walking, we hiked for about 4 hours, trying to see how far from the resort we can get. I did it bare feet and my feet are really really sore now.

Tracy and I, and a couple of our friends, spent some time at Calgary Motorcycle Show earlier today. I love going to this type of shows but I have to admit that I didn't like this one as much as I did the last year's show.

It was sad to see that smaller bikes and scooters were not represented very well, but I guess what did I expect living in Calgary.

2012-01-12 12:35 Sergei Belski: Hi Aenea, good to hear from you!! Hope all is well with your family! No actually the show was pretty small in bike selection. I definitely didn't' see anything that would make me trade in my Vespa, I like it too much! I do like Moto Guzzi bikes but they didn't have any at the show :(
2012-01-12 06:34 Aenea: Ciao Sergei! Did you see anything at the show that made you want to trade in your trusty Vespa?

For 5 years now its been a tradition of me taking a photo of our house with a different vehicle in front of it. Here is this year's photo that I just took. Take a look at my previous photos from 2010, 2009, 2008 and 2007 . Our tree is bigger now, we didn't have much snow this year, and we have more Christmas lights up :) My last post of the year... HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

2014-09-20 06:45 catherine: love your Vespa photos and Vespa adventures.
2013-08-05 14:08 clippingpathoutsource. com: awesome, very very nice photography.
2012-01-01 10:44 Tracy B!: So little snow this year, but love the new lights--Thanks Honey!!!! Love your tradition, but hopefully no new vehicles next year though, right?!
2011-12-31 19:12 Vanessa Day: Kinda neat seeing the progression and also to see how much snow we've had in past years!

For Christmas I got a GoPro camera from Tracy. I was looking at the camera for a while and thought it would be great to have it for my scooter trips and to use it for some interesting angles on my photo shoots :) Today I did a couple of tests. For the Vespa shot I attached camera to the top of my helmet, it worked well but I would need to find a bit better position and try some different angles.

For the bicycle shot I attached camera to Tracy's bike while she was biking behind me. Not many places on my bike for it, I would have to think about it. For the car shot I attached camera to the outside of my windshield. This was just a quick test and I'm looking forward playing with it more :)
