I don't know what it is about but every time I travel somewhere tropical I like eating their donuts. I don't eat any at home but here I like having them for breakfast :)

After my breakfast of champions, Tracy and I went for a very very long walk on the beach. (where I sun burned top of my feet)

I left Tracy reading on the beach and went exploring a little more :)

Another wonderful day! Tracy did some Yoga on the beach this morning :)

Because we are so close to The Mayan Ruins at Tulum we decided to go and see them... for sure not as good as Mayan Ruins Of Chichen Itza, not even close. Still, we had a good time, and its a pretty good place to take some iguana photographs :)

Happy couple is still happy :)

In the evening we all enjoyed some great mexican food and a wonderful show here at the resort.

Hey, my first post that doesn't have a photo of a pelican in it :) Another great day of relaxation for us, I finally did go swimming, although the water wasn't the warmest. I'm usually not a very big breakfast person but breakfast here is very good... 2 eggs on the left are for my breakfast :)

Tracy is getting a nice fresh smoothie... pretty cool place here at the resort, I got a pretty nice drink as well :)

Happy couple is meeting with their wedding coordinator... can't wait to the wedding day, it should be beautiful!

We are staying at the Dreams Tulum Resort and I must admit, I'm not very impressed with the buffet restaurant's food... but the food in other restaurants is excellent! Here is a nice pizza we had for lunch by the swimming pool :)

I took a couple of night photographs of the resort, will have to take some more while I'm here :)

Nothing really new today... Tracy and I just did lots of walking, we hiked for about 4 hours, trying to see how far from the resort we can get. I did it bare feet and my feet are really really sore now.

There are many pelicans around and it is very interesting to see how they catch fish.

It was pretty bumpy at the end of the flight but we made it, hello Mexico!

Not what I was hoping to see, but as long as it doesn't rain on the wedding day :) We arrived to Cancun and were greeted by heavy rain :( Luckily it didn't last long and we had some sun today, although rain came back in the afternoon :(

Ok, I'm not a big fan of Mexican food but this was the best shrimp tacos I ever tried!

I didn't really do very much today, just looked around the resort and walked about 10 km along the beach... took a couple of photographs of local wild life :)

Sitting and waiting for our flight at Calgary International Airport. Tracy and I are on our way for a vacation, where I will also photograph a wedding :) Check my blog for more updates, I'm planning on posting something pretty much everyday.

I love traveling at night.. airport is so empty :)

Tracy and I, and a couple of our friends, spent some time at Calgary Motorcycle Show earlier today. I love going to this type of shows but I have to admit that I didn't like this one as much as I did the last year's show.

It was sad to see that smaller bikes and scooters were not represented very well, but I guess what did I expect living in Calgary.
