DAY 4: Today we drove 352km... Didn't drive very much today and mostly just explored the Oregon coast :)

This was like a scene from a Jurassic Park movie.. great experience photographing pelicans by the ocean!

DAY 3: Today we drove 361km... We made it to the West Coast and spent some time at Canon Beach, Oregon... love this place!

Had lunch at this little place.. great food!

Tillamook Creamery is something interesting. We didn't plan to stop here but wanted to charge our car and Tesla Superchargers were right by this place... its hard to say no to an ice cream :)

We did some whale watching (from very far) and enjoyed the sunset until the fog came and took over the coast.

DAY 1: Today we drove 475km... The beginning of our road trip to San Francisco! Today's plan is to drive towards the US border and make a little stop at Tracy's sister for a visit in Sparwood, BC.

DAY 2: Today we drove 922km... We made it to the US, the land full of American flags and hamburgers :)

I wish we were sponsored by Starbucks with the amount of money we spent on coffee this road trip.

It got pretty hot today... I think the warmest it got was +44C.

Pretty big fire on Washington side of the border with Oregon.

I was hoping to get a few nice images of Multnomah Falls but unfortunately the light wasn't great for it when we arrived.

Here are a few of my photographs from this year's Calgary Stampede day with Oliver. With pandemic and everything we missed a few years but it was nice to visit it once again and to document Stampede adventures of our little cowboy, who is getting to be not so little pretty fast :)

This big wheel looks pretty but it was the worst thing to waste our time and money on... couldn't really see anything through the glass, the smaller wheel is a much much better option!

Lines for interesting foods were very long and food prices are just ridiculous, so this year we decided to just go home and get some take out :)

On the road again! I packed all my camping gear early and headed East :)

What is wrong with this picture? For the fist time ever I arrived to Tesla Supercharger to find out that its not working. Luckily I have an adapter and was able to charge from a different charger.

I found Tracy and Oliver staying at Airbnb cabin by Christopher Lake, SK.

The day before I packed my camp fast and everything was still a bit damp so it was a nice opportunity to dry out my sleeping bag as I was charging my car for the day :)

Finally made it to Saskatoon where we spent a couple of days relaxing and heaving a good time with family :)

When there is no time to waste and you have some camping things with you.. made some very tasty food while I was charging on my way home :)

I was on my way to Saskatoon, SK for a family gathering, but first, I decided to visit one of my favourite places for wildlife... Elk Island National Park.

It wasn't difficult to find my first bison as soon as I arrived to Elk Island National Park :)

With all the driving, I realized that I was running low on charge with only 1% remaining in my car battery. I found a charger and plugged in as I walked around taking photographs of some local wildlife :)

It was getting dark pretty fast and after fun time with some local beavers it was time to set up my tent for the night. My original plan was to sleep in my car but I decided to get a camping spot near by. It was wet and raining and temperature dropped to +6C in the night but I was pretty cozy in my tent :)

Went out for a little trip to Banff National Park for some light hiking and nature photography today.

Went out for a little trip to Kananaskies Country.. didn't find any wildlife other than a few deer but still was a fun little trip :)

Spent some time outdoors earlier today... just realized how green I look, I guess squirrels will not see me coming :)

Four winters with Tesla Model 3 under our Christmas tree :) For all Tesla loving friends out there... Merry Christmas! I took my annual photo of our home in Airdrie... 15 years now :) Also, take a look at my photographs of the house from previous years to see how the tree grew and cars changed :)
