Tracy, a couple of our friends, and I are on a mini vacation in BC. We are staying at Fairmont Vacation Villas and I think this is one of the nicest rooms we ever stayed in. I just took a couple of shots when we came in so it doesn't really show much, but at least you can see a bit of it.

Finally made it home, great to be back! Here is the final view of the islands and a pretty cool view from the Seattle International Airport. I have a family photo shoot later today so I better get some needed rest :)

Today was the last day/night on Maui, Hawaii for us. We spent the day relaxing, lots of swimming, and great local food :) Tomorrow we have to wake up right after 4am and head to the airport for our flight home.

2009-09-20 09:33 Sergei Belski: Maple, no it was a local surfer.
2009-09-19 23:09 Maple: is that you with the boogie/surf board?
2009-09-18 00:08 Sergei Belski: Thank you Aman!
2009-09-17 22:45 Aman: These pics are amazing Sergei!

Long day today! We did some more exploring of the island. I think we pretty much covered it all :) Today we took the Road to Hana with over 600 curves and more than 50 bridges and many many beautiful stops on the way. Tomorrow we will probably just relax on the beach at our hotel and do lots of swimming before we have to head back home.

Another day in paradise! We did some snorkelling earlier in the day and in the evening we had a great dinner at Bubba Gump Restaurant.

Here are some photographs from our trip today to Haleakala Crater. The temperature at the hotel was +30C but at the top at 10,000 feet it was +13C and the air was thin. It was a beautiful drive with some great views!

Today we had a relaxing day. We stayed close to our hotel and did lots of swimming in the waves. I'm so tired, I never swimmed so much and so hard (trying to fight the waves) in my life! Great time!

In the evening Tracy and I visited Old Lahaina Luau. For me this was the best experience in Maui so far! The food and the show were great and we had a wonderful evening! I would for sure recommend this to everyone! (Unlike Maui Theatre's Ulalena that we saw yesterday and I wouldn't recommend that to anyone)

2009-09-20 09:34 Sergei Belski: I'm not sure what that is.. maybe? :)
2009-09-19 23:11 Maple: Did you try ' poi '?

Today we took a little drive on a narrow and twisty county-maintained section of the Kahekili Highway (county route 340) along Maui's northwest coast. It was the most amazing drive I ever did! Best views and very very narrow road was so much fun to drive on! Everybody is talking about Road to Hana with over 600 curves and more than 50 bridges... or something like that... we will do that drive in a day or so and I will see if I like that, but I really don't think it will top today's experience.

2009-09-12 12:38 Tracy Belski: Hey, we tried to invite you guys, but it was too late and too close to the new "significant other" coming! Don't worry, we will have enough fun for you guys too!!
2009-09-11 15:43 jerry m: Hope you guys are having a great Vacation. Wishing we were there! oh! We were not invited, right. "HAVE FUN" jerry & yvonne and Toni /insignificant other?

As some of you know, Tracy and I are in Hawaii right now. After two airplane flights we finally arrived! The flight to Seattle was actually the best flight I ever had. I was surprised to find out that this little airplane would be the most comfortable airplane I ever flew in :)

I took a couple of snapshots as soon as we got in our room. Check out the view we have from our window/balcony! I love the view and the room but we will be moving to a bigger and better room in two days and we will have an ocean view.
