My wife Tracy gave me so many great gifts over the years and I love them all! About two weeks ago she bought a Chili Pepper plant for me and I think this is my favorite gift, I love it! It has a bunch of peppers on it and one of them is already turning red :) Hope it will survive and can't wait to see it grow!

2009-08-26 18:35 Maple: I had a BEAUTIFUL peper plant that was on the brink of death, then I was able to revive it only to have Sergey forget to water it and it died :( Along with one of my Chritmas cacti that was doing so well :(

I will be photographing a wedding in Canmore, Alberta on Saturday so I decided to drive out there and scout some locations for our formal photographs. It was a very rainy day but I found lots of different locations and I feel like I actually know the town now.

2009-08-04 23:50 Viktor: I like these pictures from Canmore area. This picturesque valley and the wooden path with low clouds in mountains look magnificent. I just like to stare for these pictures. And your bright Mini looks good against the grey background of the rock.

Yesterday Tracy and I attended Airdrie Regional Air Show with a couple of friends. I'm not a huge fan of air shows but I really liked this one! I had lots of sunscreen on and I think this was my first ever air show where I didn't get sun burned :)

We had great weather today so I took a little drive on some country roads around Airdrie. This little shed caught my eye so I took a couple of shots.

2009-06-28 01:51 artemski: Hey Sergei, nice cat! Cheers from Russia
2009-06-21 19:01 Virginia: Aren't cats the greatest! My hubby gave me flowers for Mother's Day (from the cat). They're our kids!

Today was the last day when I had a loaner car, 2008 convertible MINI. Because it is a convertible I thought it would be perfect to attach a remote camera to the car, so on my way to the dealership to return the car I took some shots. I wish I thought of it sooner, I could have driven to some nice places for this :) I used Manfrotto Magic Arm and Manfrotto Super Clamp to attach my camera to the car.

2009-06-17 17:27 Katya U: wow this is a crazy shot. It makes me feel like I'm actually driving.

I had to do a lot of driving today. I drove 3 different MINI Coopers in one day :) I took my MINI for a scheduled maintenance and they gave me another MINI as a loaner, pretty much the same as my car but 2009. Not long time after I got home they called me and asked if I could bring that car back. They wanted to sell it in the evening and in return gave me a 2008 convertible MINI. I only had my camera and 50 mm lens but I made a quick stop and took some shots. I never drove a convertible before so it was kind of fun :)

2009-05-25 11:10 Violetta: I miss you guys!!!!!

For the last two summers my dad and I worked on building this beautiful deck for Tracy and I. We build it all from scratch and its all made of cedar wood. Granite counter top, build in BBQ, movable benches and a large table are just a few futures of the deck. The deck is pretty much done, we just need to put a coat or two of stain on it. So this summer we are ready to finally enjoy it!

I have a wedding to photograph in two weeks, it will be in Airdrie and Crossfield and I'm very excited about it. Today I went for a drive to scout some possible locations for our formal photographs. I found some nice spots, the problem is finding a nice spot with enough space where the limo can stop and turn around :) Here a couple of photographs of my MINI in one of the locations that I found.
