Yesterday Tracy and I spent a very nice time with our good friends Alex and his wife Mila. They live very close to this beautiful lake, so we did a little bit of fishing in the evening. We didn't catch anything this time, although I did pull one fish out but it got away when we tried to put it in the net. It wasn't a very successful fishing trip, but we had lots of fun and I for sure would do it again, hopefully sometime soon.

Yesterday Tracy and I went out for some Chinese food with couple of our friends. After dinner we decided to play some Wii games. Here are Rob and Jennifer playing Wii Boxing at our house.

My Mini is officially modified :) I'm trying to keep it as original as possible but I just got these little Union Jack valve caps. Oh, the little things that make us happy :)

This evening my friend Greg, Tracy, and I went to see some fireworks at the GlobalFest. GlobalFest fireworks competition is by far my favorite fireworks to see. We had some very nice food and enjoyed the show! If you have never been to GlobalFest Fireworks, I strongly recommend it!

Today I spent all day photographing. I took some photographs for AirdrieLIFE magazine and in the evening I took some car photographs for the local Mini Club at Show and Shine car show. This was also the fist time my little car was in the show :)

Look mom, I'm eating healthy :) I took this photo of "the fruits of our labor" with my iPhone, the camera on that thing is not that bad actually and I rarely carry my little camera with me anymore. We planted a couple of raspberry plants in our back yard and we had quite a few raspberries this year.

I just came back from the "Mini in the Mountains" road trip. I took my new car for a drive with a local "Mini Club of Calgary". We drove through the mountains to Kananaskis Village for lunch and it was a great drive! I enjoyed spending some time with people who share the same interest in cars as I do.

Well I had my Mini Cooper for a week now and I really like it. I thought it was time to take some photographs of it, so I took it out for a little drive this morning.

Well I wasn't expecting this to happen but it did. I just traded in my 2004 Range Rover for a nice little car, Mini Cooper :) I always liked the original Mini. After a test drive of one of the new ones I really liked it, and with the growing gas prices, I made a decision and now I'm a proud owner of the 2008 Mini Cooper. So far I'm loving every minute of it. If any of you are looking for a Mini please talk to Divina Oliverio at the MINI Crowfoot, she was great and made my shopping experience wonderful!
