What a nice weather we are having, can't complain! I went for a little ride on my Vespa earlier today and brought my camera with me :)

2013-02-22 23:42 Sergei Belski: Thank you John! Post a link to your website... would be happy to see some photographs of your scooter in the future :)
2013-02-19 16:58 John Neal: As someone who is waiting for his first Vespa 300 (outfitted identically to yours!) to arrive, I so enjoy looking at your wonderful photos of your Vespa. As an amateur photographer, I also get many ideas for photos from looking at your work. Plus, it's wonderful here in the depths of a Maine winter to look back through your blog at all the summer photos and dream that, soon, it will be me in lovely summer places like those! So thank you very much for your wonderful photos and willingness to share it with the world!

Went for a little ride on my Vespa earlier today, my second ride of the year... hope the weather will improve sometime soon :)

2013-01-15 19:37 SonjaM: Good for you. I haven't been on two wheels in January yet. Wishing you a wonderful riding year!
2013-01-13 06:54 ntr23: I found your website during my christmas holiday via ModernVespa forum. You have amazing photos. I have Vespa S50, also in red colour. http://www.flickr.com/photos/ntr23/7433111224/

As you can see, I have a new addition to my Vespa winter driving... tall windscreen :) Today was a first time I rode with it on... good experience, stops cold wind very well, but on a bad side looks like I lost 15 km/h of the top speed of my Vespa, but I guess I don't really need to drive fast in the winter anyway :) I didn't take many photographs on my ride today because as you can see we have a bunch of snow on the side of our roads and finding a spot to stop for a photo could be difficult.

2012-11-27 10:38 Charley Chapman: Rode this morning in West Texas and was cold. I am for the big windshield and can go fly in the warmer months.
2012-11-27 10:33 Charley Chapman: I agree, the large windshild works best for cold weather and once spring comes switch to the fly. I rode this moring in West Texas and have a Givi large screen and it is nice when the wind blows. Rubber side up and keep warm. Enjoy the pictures.
2012-11-21 19:28 Sergei Belski: I like the flyscreen better as well.. I wouldn't leave home with out it, it's great! :) This one is not the best looking at first but its actually looks pretty nice after you get used to it. So far worked good for the winter cold winds :)
2012-11-20 21:14 SonjaM: It ain't pretty but for sure does make a lot sense when riding in cold temps. I got to appreciate the higher windshield, too although I really like the flyscreen better.

I had a busy day editing wedding photographs and as soon as I finished, I decided to go for a ride on my Vespa. I finally took a few photographs :)

2012-10-17 21:09 SonjaM: Wonderful pics, as usual. Even though you're busy please don't forget to post Vespa photos every once in a while ;-)
2012-10-16 10:36 Sergei Belski: Thank you very much Charley! It can do 85 mph .. not against the wind though and depends how big you are :) I take it on a highway every day at 75mph and it does it with no problems. I'm guessing it would be even better in Texas.
2012-10-16 07:31 Charley Chapman: I have been following you for years. Love the pictures, scooter and rides you post. I am thinking of a vespa scooter, In West Texas the speed limit is high, 85 mph however in town only 60 mph. Keep posting.

I noticed that I didn't have a single blog post with My Vespa Adventures in September, so here are a few images taken with my iPhone :)

2012-11-12 19:25 Sergei Belski: Right now for my rear tire I put on Heidenau K58 (also have same front one, just didn't need a new tire yet). What I read about them is they are very good in the wet. I only had them on for a few month so I can't say if I like them or not yet.
2012-11-11 14:45 SonjaM: Sergei, what brand of rubber are you putting on your Vespa? They look almost like real winter tires.

It have been a pretty long time since I posted any of my Vespa Adventures... Just to let you all know, I still ride pretty much every day, just have been too busy to take photos of the scooter :( Well today I hit 20,000 km on my red Vespa and I decided to take a few photos to celebrate :)

2012-08-31 22:24 Sergei Belski: Thank you!
2012-08-31 21:55 SonjaM: Congrats to this major milestone.

Day three... Another long day on the bike, in total this weekend I rode for 1,280 km... fun, fun, fun! We couldn't ask for a better weather for our trip! After seeing the sign below I really wanted to just make a turn and keep going to Alaska, well maybe someday soon I will make that trip :)

Here are our friends in front of me, later in this trip my travel companions left me because I was stopping too much to take photographs... for a few hours I traveled by myself and caught up with them having lunch.

I had to stop and take a photo of this craziness. Ok, I understand, seeing wild animal is exciting.. but people do you need to hold your children in front of the wild elk for a photo? Something will spook him and you never know what he will do. Plus traffic jam that this causes.. don't get me started. We saw this elk three days in a row, he just hangs out by the lake on the way to Hinton, AB.

2015-10-30 11:35 Image Manipulation Service: Wonderful rod through the heart of heavenly beauty. Nice bike ready to fly:)
2012-08-09 09:17 Sergei Belski: Yes I was very tempted. I wish I had more time... I will for sure do the trip to Alaska, just some other time :)
2012-08-08 15:06 SonjaM: Weren't you tempted for a moment just to set the indicator and go North? If I would have to picture someone going on a trip to Alaska on a Vespa, it would be you!

Day two... We woke up to a not so nice looking morning. It rained at night and still was raining a bit when we woke up, but luckily for us the rain stopped by the time we got out of the hotel. Today's plan was to drive around Jasper National Park, take some photos and enjoy touristy things :)

2012-08-08 15:04 SonjaM: The clouds definitely make for a dramatic background. Best picture in mho is you 'on top of the world'.

Two scooters, one motorcycle and one car... we are on the road again :) Tracy and I and a couple of our friends are on a little trip to the Jasper, AB area. Day one.. we were on the road for 14 hours, driving and stopping to take photos. Very long day and by the end of it I struggled to put my heavy loaded scooter on its stand, but so far so good :) We made it to Hinton, AB and staying here for 2 nights. Today should be a day to explore around here and see this beautiful park :)

2012-08-09 09:19 Sergei Belski: Yes, I'm very busy in the summer when it is nice weather to ride with my photo work so although I ride every day, I don't really have time to go on a long road trips :(
2012-08-08 15:01 SonjaM: Finally! You're on the road. Can't wait to see more of your trip.
2012-08-07 15:49 Sergei Belski: Thank you very much! Matt.. no trouble on any of the hills in Jasper area.. Vespa ran with speed limit or above all day long :)
2012-08-05 17:59 Viktor: Beautiful Canada! Have a nice save trip!!
2012-08-05 16:18 Matt M: Wonderful shots! Jasper is one of our favorite spots in the world - just stunning scenery. Any trouble on the hills with the scoot?
2012-08-05 08:50 Tracy B!: Gorgeous!!! Great rises some landscapes from you against hat don't always have to have your espa in them ;). P.S. you are looking HOT!!!

My friend Greg and I decided to go for a day trip on our motorbikes today. We ended up going to Bragg Creek area here in Alberta... It was a beautiful day and we had a great time! My LittleGuy was very happy to run around, just for fun, for the second day in a row :)

It's good that I have a bit an off road type of tire on the back of my scooter because for about 35 kilometres the road turned into a gravel road with some pretty steep hills.

2012-07-20 16:21 Sergei Belski: Thank you! Yes gravel is for sure not my favourite, but taking it slow is not that bad :) This was a pretty nice ride :)
2012-07-20 14:39 Charley Chapman: Have followed you on your site and must say that I am glad that you got full riding gear. 12 inch tires on dirt and gravel is brave but it appears you have some riding under your belt now and feel comfortable. Keep riding and enjoy your pictures.
2012-07-06 20:32 SonjaM: Gravel road adventures with a Vespa. There's nothing this scooter can't do. What tires do you use? And btw a scooter trip is already in the make as I type this.
2012-07-03 10:36 Sergei Belski: Thank you very much Vita!
2012-07-03 06:28 Violetta: nice views,very cool pics
