DAY 2: Another day on the road for us today. After staying for the night in Kelowna, BC we are only 390 kilometres away from our destination in Vancouver. (although for me its not really about destination, its about the road trip) Here are a few of my images from today.

Very nice views today while driving but the weather was changing very fast, and not always for the better.

I'm under impression that all people in BC are in a hurry somewhere, they all drive way faster than speed limit.. maybe I'm just getting old ;)

We made it to Hope, BC.. I can't stop saying how beautiful everything is in British Columbia.

Can't believe we ran into some relatives of ours at a Supercharger in Hope, BC.

I kinda like our hotel view today.

Hotel's pool is an outdoor one so it was interesting with a pouring rain :)

There is no destination electric car charger at the hotel here... no problem, I just plugged into a regular outlet for the night and with 7km/h charing speed we should be good to go in the morning :)

DAY 1: Of course I haven't been everywhere, but from the places that I did visit, Vancouver, BC is my favourite place on Earth... So for my 40th birthday Tracy surprised me with a nice road trip to Vancouver! Here are a few of my images from today :)

I love cedars and I love boardwalks.. so we visited a couple of boardwalks today... unreal feelings walking beneath these giant cedars.

We didn't need to stop for charging at as many places as we did, but I wanted to visit all Tesla Supercharges on our way :)

Took a few photographs of the Tesla Owners Club of Alberta 5th annual BBQ event at the Tesla Service center in Calgary earlier today. If you love cars or have any questions about Teslas, this is the best event to come.. people are super friendly and love talking about their cars :) Here are a few of my favourite photographs from the event.

Sleeping in my Tesla Model 3 for a couple of nights. Here are a few of my photographs to show you what I did :)

Recently I had a little road trip to Invermere, BC where I had a chance to sleep in my car for two nights.

For the night I was able to use a regular 110v outlet that gave me 6-8 km/hour charge.

Being plugged-in means I could run air-conditioning without worrying how much battery it will use and it kept me comfortable all night :)

It was nice to use the area behind the back seats as a night table to store some of my things for the night.

For my sleeping comfort I just used my camping equipment... sleeping mat and sleeping bag (that I unzip into a nice blanket).

I'm 6 feet tall and I had no problems stretching all the way. One thing I would recommend is to park on a little hill nose down that would make sleeping area a bit more levelled.

It all packs into a nice small package and I had great two nights of sleeping in my car :)

Had a fun little road trip to Montana, US... drove close to 1,000 km in two days and just stayed there for one night, short trip, but we had lots of fun. Here are a few of my favourite photographs :)

Boarder between USA and Canada... yes, as you can see, the grass is always greener in Canada :)

We stayed with our family at this wonderful cabin for the night where I was able to charge my Tesla at a regular plug overnight :)

Had to take some photos of Albert with the setting sun :)

GPS is showing me in the water for the following photo, I guess water level can get much higher than it is :)

In the morning we went for a little hike to the lake again.

On our way back home I took some photos at one of my favourite places around Pincher Creek with some wind turbines :)
