DAY 3: Our final day of camping.. weather was great and we spent majority of the day at the lake.

We finally got to use our kayaks for the first time on this trip.. we went out on the lake twice and had an awesome time... I'm not sure I will be able to move my arms anytime soon though from all the peddling :)

To finish our day I went on a little hike to see the sunset. Not a bad way to finish a camping trip.

DAY 2: We woke up this morning at a hotel... It was very windy and raining last night, so we made a decision to leave our tents and stay in a hotel for the night. Bonus... we had a nice breakfast included and had some fun times in the swimming pool :)

No rain today but very very windy!

We put Oliver to sleep in our tent and walked to see the lake... I may have to come back here tomorrow to take a few sunset pictures.

DAY 1: First family camping trip of the year... we are on our way to Jarvis Bay for a few days.

This year, because of the kayaks taking up so much space and we are not camping very far from home... we took two cars. I was the lucky one to travel with Oliver :)

All unloaded and set for some camping fun... My tent is from Front Runner.. it takes a minute to set it up :)

Tracy signed Oliver up for a program for kids at The Jungle Farm, where Oliver can learn about different fruits and vegetables, not from a book but on an actual farm... It has been a great program so far and Oliver loves it. Yesterday I found sometime to go and take some photographs :)

After the formal part was over... Tracy Oliver and I went to collect some berries and vegetables to take home with us.

I can't say Oliver was much help in collecting part, every time I saw him he was eating something.

As I said, always eating something... Now "collecting" some spinach :)

A few days back we spent some time at Calgary Stampede with Tracy and Oliver, and for the 5th year in a row I took photographs of Oliver having fun. If you ever been to Calgary Stampede, you know its not an easy day... trying to photograph 4 year old could be a challenge, but great to have the memories!

This year I decided not to buy any fancy foods and just had a BBQ pork salad.

I guess I also got to finish Oliver's ice-cream, so that was kinda fancy :)

I wonder how much meat gets consumed at the Stampede :)

We finally had some great weather for our annual family BBQ! Today was our 10th annual Belski family BBQ, thank you so much for everyone who was able to make it, we had a wonderful time!

Day 7: Our last day in Saskatoon... starting with somewhat healthy breakfast.

I regretted not taking our yoga matts after seeing how many people showed up for yoga at Marriott Bessborough hotel... oh well, we still had some nice time skateboarding by the river before we started our long drive home.

Day 6: In the morning Tracy took us to see "famous" Saskatoon beaches... so I could get my suntan on... I joke, but the beach was actually very nice :)

In the afternoon we did some skateboarding along the river and it was time to go and see Ziggy Marley concert at the Marriott Bessborough hotel.

Day 5: For the remainder of our stay in Saskatoon we moved into a hotel... no, not that good "castle" looking one, the one on the right... Sheraton, still not bad at all! :)

Every single time when I come to Saskatoon, I fall in love with all the little (and not so little) colourful houses and all the trees! Today I had an hour, while Oliver was taking his beauty sleep nap, to drive around and take a few photos of the houses I liked. Took all the photographs from the window of my car (not creepy at all). I'm sure I missed many, maybe even better looking houses, but these are the houses that caught my eye.
