I celebrated Canada Day by taking photographs for the City of Airdrie of all the activities in our city.

Parking can be difficult so I rode my little Brompton to the event and it worked great :)

In the afternoon I headed out to take some photographs of the other Canada Day activities at Chinook Winds Regional Park.

It all started innocent enough but the weather turned and everybody ran for cover.

I got soaking wet and went home for a bit to get dry but soon the rain stopped and we got a nice rainbow :)

This year's City Volunteer Awards were held at the Bert Church Theatre and I was very happy to be the event photographer and to take some nice photographs for the City of Airdrie.

I was so busy with all the photographs, I didn't get a chance to eat any of the food :(
