I waited for snow as long as I could but snow didn't come... Last night I took some photographs of the ZooLights at the Calgary Zoo... here are a few of my favourite photographs :)

Beautiful walk in Bayside, Airdrie this evening looking at some Christmas Lights.

Merry Christmas! I took my annual photo of our home in Airdrie :) Not much snow this year, I waited, hoping snow will come but doesn't look like we will have much in the near future... Also, take a look at my photographs of the house from previous years to see how the tree grew and cars changed :)

Oliver had his school skiing field trip today and I took a few photographs of him and his friends :)

Here are a few of my photographs from Oliver's 11th birthday party. This year Oliver wanted a Ninjago LEGO party at home with a few of his friends.

DAY 9: Today we drove 1,001km... Final stretch and we are back in Canada :)

Had to get some road trip snacks from one of my favourite places while we were charing the car :)

Here is a map of our trip and some statistics. Nine states and two provinces in nine days and 5,676km traveled ... and way too much money spent on Starbucks coffee :)

DAY 8: Today we drove 935km... Another day full of driving. Very nice stop at the famous Bonneville Salt Flats, where I had a chance to take some photographs of my Tesla :)

Second big stop of the day was Yellowstone National Park. This is unbelievable place, but unfortunately, we arrived pretty late and didn't have much time for our visit.

DAY 7: Today we drove 924km... Long day of driving, starting our way back home.

Oliver was excited to see palm trees :)

Pretty high speed limit in many places in US.

We couldn't leave California without stopping at In-N-Out Burger place and I wasn't disappointed.

DAY 6: Today we drove 21km... Chilly morning visit to see Golden Gate Bridge :)

I left my family chilling in a swimming pool at our hotel as I went for a walk to explore and take some photos.

For the second part of the day our plan was to head to the Fisherman's Wharf and take a trip to visit Alcatraz :)

Well, we had an interesting night... At around 2am we were woken up by a fire alarm and the whole hotel had to evacuate while firefighters put out a small fire.

DAY 5: Today we drove 685km... Yearly morning wake up and we are on the road again.

One of the stops I wanted to make on this road trip was Redwood National and State Parks and it didn't disappoint :)

Yay, we made it to San Francisco!
