I photograph a lot of birthday parties so it was nice to put my skills to use for our little guy, who turned 7 this year :) This year Oliver wanted to have Wild Kratts themed party. Here are a few of my favourite photographs and thank you very much everyone who was able to come and celebrate with us!

DAY 5: On our way home! I didn't charge my car while we were staying in Vancouver since our parkade didn't have a plug and I really didn't need a charge... But for the way back we started our trip home by stopping at a pretty busy Supercharger in Surrey, BC. It is crazy how many Teslas are in Vancouver area!

The rest of the day we spent pretty much driving in the rain and some snow, stopping for charging and to get some food.

It got dark pretty quick and with all the rain I din't really take many photos. All together on this trip we drove just under 2,200 km and thank you to Tesla, at least we din't have to pay anything for gas :)

DAY 4: Our very short trip to Vancouver comes to an end and for the last day here we did some touristy things :)

We started our day by visiting Vancouver Aquarium.

Later in the day rain stopped so we visited Sylvia Hotel and Gastown.

DAY 3: Hello Vancouver!!!

We started our day by soaking up some rain on a nice little hike in a park :)

When celebrating a birthday in Vancouver having Airbnb with a nice view doesn't hurt :)

DAY 2: Another day on the road for us today. After staying for the night in Kelowna, BC we are only 390 kilometres away from our destination in Vancouver. (although for me its not really about destination, its about the road trip) Here are a few of my images from today.

Very nice views today while driving but the weather was changing very fast, and not always for the better.

I'm under impression that all people in BC are in a hurry somewhere, they all drive way faster than speed limit.. maybe I'm just getting old ;)

We made it to Hope, BC.. I can't stop saying how beautiful everything is in British Columbia.

Can't believe we ran into some relatives of ours at a Supercharger in Hope, BC.

I kinda like our hotel view today.

Hotel's pool is an outdoor one so it was interesting with a pouring rain :)

There is no destination electric car charger at the hotel here... no problem, I just plugged into a regular outlet for the night and with 7km/h charing speed we should be good to go in the morning :)

DAY 1: Of course I haven't been everywhere, but from the places that I did visit, Vancouver, BC is my favourite place on Earth... So for my 40th birthday Tracy surprised me with a nice road trip to Vancouver! Here are a few of my images from today :)

I love cedars and I love boardwalks.. so we visited a couple of boardwalks today... unreal feelings walking beneath these giant cedars.

We didn't need to stop for charging at as many places as we did, but I wanted to visit all Tesla Supercharges on our way :)
