First road trip with our Tesla Model 3! Just come back from a two day 700km road trip to visit Fairmont Hot Springs in British Columbia and it was great. Here are a few of my favourite photos from the trip.

I probably should have washed my car after the rain, knowing how many photos of it I will take.. but oh well :)

Every little bit helps... plugged in to charge from a regular outlet at the hotel for the night. I think my favourite part of this car is the ability of getting energy pretty much everywhere!

Having Tesla Supercharger in Canmore really doesn't hurt with all the trips to the mountains!

Had to do an unplanned trip to Victoria BC for a day. Always great to visit BC, wish I could stay longer.

Well.. my favourite time of the year came and went... The 2018 Calgary International Auto & Truck Show... Calgary is way behind on moving forward into the electric future of cars but I was surprised how many electric cars were actually here this year. Pretty good show this year... here are a few of my favourite photographs!

I was surprised that I liked Chevy Bolt the most from electric cars ... Other than Tesla of course, that wasn't at the car show.

Earlier this month we had scientists of all ages gather at our house to celebrate Oliver's 5th birthday. This year Oliver wanted to have a science party for his birthday, so Tracy went all out and came up with a whole bunch of science experiments and decorations for Oliver. I took a few photos of the event :) Thank you very much everyone who was able to come and celebrate with us!

DAY 3: Our final day of camping.. weather was great and we spent majority of the day at the lake.

We finally got to use our kayaks for the first time on this trip.. we went out on the lake twice and had an awesome time... I'm not sure I will be able to move my arms anytime soon though from all the peddling :)

To finish our day I went on a little hike to see the sunset. Not a bad way to finish a camping trip.

DAY 2: We woke up this morning at a hotel... It was very windy and raining last night, so we made a decision to leave our tents and stay in a hotel for the night. Bonus... we had a nice breakfast included and had some fun times in the swimming pool :)

No rain today but very very windy!

We put Oliver to sleep in our tent and walked to see the lake... I may have to come back here tomorrow to take a few sunset pictures.

DAY 1: First family camping trip of the year... we are on our way to Jarvis Bay for a few days.

This year, because of the kayaks taking up so much space and we are not camping very far from home... we took two cars. I was the lucky one to travel with Oliver :)

All unloaded and set for some camping fun... My tent is from Front Runner.. it takes a minute to set it up :)

Tracy signed Oliver up for a program for kids at The Jungle Farm, where Oliver can learn about different fruits and vegetables, not from a book but on an actual farm... It has been a great program so far and Oliver loves it. Yesterday I found sometime to go and take some photographs :)

After the formal part was over... Tracy Oliver and I went to collect some berries and vegetables to take home with us.

I can't say Oliver was much help in collecting part, every time I saw him he was eating something.

As I said, always eating something... Now "collecting" some spinach :)

A few days back we spent some time at Calgary Stampede with Tracy and Oliver, and for the 5th year in a row I took photographs of Oliver having fun. If you ever been to Calgary Stampede, you know its not an easy day... trying to photograph 4 year old could be a challenge, but great to have the memories!

This year I decided not to buy any fancy foods and just had a BBQ pork salad.

I guess I also got to finish Oliver's ice-cream, so that was kinda fancy :)

I wonder how much meat gets consumed at the Stampede :)
