It took me a while but I'm finally finished! Here are some photographs from a wedding that I did this past Saturday. Melissa and Jamie were planning to have their ceremony in a park but because it was raining pretty much the whole time for the past couple of weeks here in Calgary, ceremony, as well as our formal photographs were moved. We ended up taking formal photographs in the Devonian Gardens, downtown Calgary, and it worked out great!

Just did a wedding. The weather was unbelievable, at one point I looked in my car and it said +30C, not sure if it reached any higher but it was hot! It was a very long day for me but I had lots of fun! We had lots of time between the ceremony and the reception so it wasn't rushed and we ended up with many great photographs!

I have been pretty busy this weekend. This Saturday I was in High River, photographing a wedding. You can see some photographs below. I had a great time and the weather was wonderful!
Sunday we spent outside doing yard work. My dad helped us out and we got lots done. We bought and planted multiple plants and a tree in our yard. Hopefully they will grow and we will have a great yard this summer :)

Yesterday was a long, tirening, and at the same time very fun day for me. I had a pleasure to photograph my first Filipino wedding. The weather was horrible! It was snowing, very strong wind, and very cold. I thought I would freeze my fingers off holding my cold metal camera. Bride and groom and the rest of the party were great! We couldn't do very many formal photographs because of the weather but what we did do turned out very good. Here are some of the photographs.

I'm officially married now! Today on February 29 Tracy and I got married at the Dominican Republic in Dreams Punta Cana Resort and Spa.
As I mentioned before I photographed all of it myself with a tripod and Pocket Wizard remotes, except for the actual ceremony. I even photographed Tracy and her dad walking down the aisle and than handed my camera to Tracy's dad, my mom as well had my second camera the entire time. All I can say is, hire a professional :) It was a very interesting experience for me as a wedding photographer to be on the other side of the lens. Everything was very different, much faster when you are actually the groom. We forgot many things we wanted to do, didn't have time for many things we planned. It was a great day and I'm happy that I could spend it with my close family! We have a couple more days here in Punta Cana and I'm planing to spend it with my wife swimming, playing in the ocean, and eating as much cocolate as I possibly can!
Tracy and I would like to thank all the people very much who made us a great video with your wedding wishes, it was awesome!!! And of course thank you very much for everyone visiting my blog!
