Last week Tracy, Oliver, and I went for a two days vacation on a lake. We rented a boat in Salmon Arm, BC and had lots of fun!

We met up with the rest of the family somewhere on the lake. Tracy's dad rented a big house boat and stayed there for the whole week.

Many birds around the lake, here is a nice eagle that we saw :)

Quick stop at a floating store where we paid crazy prices for gas for our boat... and I got a bucket of ice cream :)

Oliver was not a fan of going fast.

I made some ribs for dinner :)

In the evening, on our way to the hotel, we tried to outrun a big storm with lightning, wind, heavy rain, and fog... we did out best but our boat wasn't fast enough. It was pretty scary and we got soaking wet. (I didn't take any photos during that)

The next day it was cloudy with some rain on and off.. but nothing as bad as the night before, so we were happy :)

It used to be so much easier, grab a bag and go.. now with Oliver we take everything with us and I was pretty loaded on our way back to the hotel.

On our way home we stopped to pickup some ice cream and milk :)
