As many of you already know, I just got back from spending two weeks at Lake Louise, where I photographed Alpine Skiing World Cups. I was busy working and didn't take many personal photos, but I thought I would share a few photographs of My Tesla Adventures in our winter mountains :)

Here is a graph of ups and downs of driving in the mountains... Overall Tesla did very well and over the 2,000 km driven here in cold and snow I averaged out to get 173 Wh/km

For the last 6 years, every time I'm here to photograph skiing World Cups, I'm staying at Castle Mountain Chalets. Great cabins with a nice view of the Castle Mountain :) Temperatures outside would drop to -16C sometimes and every night I would plug into a regular house hold power outlet and that was enough to recharge my car back up to what I needed for the day.

On our one day off between ski races me and a couple of other photographers decided to take a little drive and visit Peyto Lake.

Lake Louise ski hill has 2 Tesla destination chargers and it was great to be able to charge so I would have some extra range to drive around. A few times over my time here, it got pretty busy and we had to play nice and share.

My Tesla is RWD and this was a good test on how it would perform in the snow and ice. I was very impressed how good it did! I do have the best winter tires out there (in my opinion) Nokian Hakkapeliitta 9, studded.
