Yesterday evening I had a great time photogrpahing hockey! Mount Royal College Cougars played against SAIT's Trojans. I was hired by Mount Royal college and because they won 9-1 it was great for me to photograph. The game had lots of goals and many great hits. |

Some people were asking me about my setup and what I use for hockey games so I thought I would post this photo. This is what I bring for a hockey game. I usually use 6 AlienBees strobes all with PocketWizards remotes. I have four 1600 and two 800 strobes. The amount of cords would wary from game to game :) I sometimes bring light stands but mostly use Manfrotto super clamps to hang my strobes around the ice surface. |
