As many of you already know, I just got back from spending two weeks at Lake Louise, where I photographed Alpine Skiing World Cups. I was busy working and didn't take many personal photos, but I thought I would share a few photographs of My Tesla Adventures in our winter mountains :)

Here is a graph of ups and downs of driving in the mountains... Overall Tesla did very well and over the 2,000 km driven here in cold and snow I averaged out to get 173 Wh/km

For the last 6 years, every time I'm here to photograph skiing World Cups, I'm staying at Castle Mountain Chalets. Great cabins with a nice view of the Castle Mountain :) Temperatures outside would drop to -16C sometimes and every night I would plug into a regular house hold power outlet and that was enough to recharge my car back up to what I needed for the day.

On our one day off between ski races me and a couple of other photographers decided to take a little drive and visit Peyto Lake.

Lake Louise ski hill has 2 Tesla destination chargers and it was great to be able to charge so I would have some extra range to drive around. A few times over my time here, it got pretty busy and we had to play nice and share.

My Tesla is RWD and this was a good test on how it would perform in the snow and ice. I was very impressed how good it did! I do have the best winter tires out there (in my opinion) Nokian Hakkapeliitta 9, studded.

I'm at Lake Louise for a couple of weeks to photograph Alpine Skiing World Cups and with all the snow here it is fun to play with my car. Teslas are amazing in the snow! Here are a couple of shots I took earlier today :)

On my way to a photo shoot this morning in Olds, AB I had to stop for a photo, when I drove through a nice looking fog :)

It was pretty foggy this morning so I decided to take a photo of my car.

Earlier today we did a family visit to the Tesla Owners Club of Alberta 4th annual BBQ event at the Tesla Service center in Calgary. We didn't stay long this time, but of course I couldn't leave without taking at least a few photographs :)

I don't think we are quite there yet, but someone is ready :)

Not a Tesla but I can appreciate a good looking car... I guess it does have a few electric motors :)

After seeing all the nice looking cars we went to see a Monster Truck show... way too loud, so much fumes and dust.. not my cup of tea, I have to say.

Had a photo shoot in Canmore, AB and while there I noticed that I rolled over 10,000 km in my Tesla. Loving every minute of it!

Why does it rain every time we go camping? This year wasn't an exception, we had to drive in the rain, but luckily the weather was pretty nice for the rest of our trip. Here are a few photos from our recent family camping at Jarvis Bay campground at Sylvan Lake, AB.

We took 2 cars again, I think its easier than arguing with your wife about what to bring when she is packing too many things... I guess, if it was up to me, I would not bring anything and would be cold and hungry sitting on a rock... I love you honey!

Took a few photographs at a Tesla Owners Club of Alberta meet up in Red Deer yesterday. Now that I finally have a Tesla I officially joined the club :) It was great to see so many Teslas in one place and meet some great people!

First road trip with our Tesla Model 3! Just come back from a two day 700km road trip to visit Fairmont Hot Springs in British Columbia and it was great. Here are a few of my favourite photos from the trip.

I probably should have washed my car after the rain, knowing how many photos of it I will take.. but oh well :)

Every little bit helps... plugged in to charge from a regular outlet at the hotel for the night. I think my favourite part of this car is the ability of getting energy pretty much everywhere!

Having Tesla Supercharger in Canmore really doesn't hurt with all the trips to the mountains!
