Three days straight I spent away photographing a Ringette Provincials. Even at this age, 11-12 year old, this game is very fast! I'm not a big fan of hockey and ringette tournaments, I love photographing them but its just way too cold for my liking. Spending 10 or more hours a day at the ice level is just not so good on my body. Tracy as always did an awesome job processing all of the images and doing all the sales.

Yesterday was a very exciting day for me. My new MacBook Pro finally arrived! I wanted to say that migrating all my stuff from my old laptop was a breeze! It took me couple of clicks and about an hour and I had all my programs, all presets, bookmarks, etc on my new laptop.

Great job by Apple to have such an option. I remember when I was a PC user it took me forever to transfer all my things and to reinstall all my programs on a new computer and even than I didn't transfer everything anyway.

Second and the last day of the "Best of the West Women's Volleyball Championship 2008". For this tournament I was hired by the Dinos Women's Volleyball Club. I enjoyed the tournament and got lots of good photographs. I am already done processing all of my photographs and now I can enjoy a movie or two :)

It was a wonderfull day! I didn't have to work today so I spent some time resting on the couch with my cats, watched a movie, and cleaned a bit around the house. In the evening we had some friends and family over for a very nice supper. I have to photograph some volleyball games tomorrow and on Sunday so it should be a pretty fun weekend.

Today was a busy day for me. I went out for a brunch with some friends and than Tracy and I spent the rest of the day at the Calgary International Auto and Truck show with my parents. My parents also took us out for a quick dinner afterwards and it was great!

This morning I woke up to about 3 cm of fresh snow and I had a couple of engagement photo shoots scheduled for today. It was pretty cold and snowing the whole time in the morning and we just had a short photo shoot with Mark and Mary. They did great and we had fun and ended up with some great images.

My second couple were Alanna and Wess. Lots of fun, lots of energy. The snow stopped by the time we started our photo session and we had a great time in the park. I'm looking forward to their wedding day!

Calgary International Auto and Truck show is on at the Roundup Centre & Corral Stampede Park from March 12 to March 16. I had a little bet of time today at lunch so I stopped at the show. I love cars and auto shows so it was great to spend some time there. I looked at many cars but still didn't find anything that I like more than my Range Rover.

This evening Tracy and I and some friends of ours went to one of my favorite restaurants, Sakana Grill. We had a great time and the food was excellent!

Well the tournament is over, in the last couple of days I photographed many volleyball games and it was fun. I got some great images and I'm sure girls will like them.

Yesterday we said bye to Tracy's dad and his family, who are staying at the resort for a couple more days, and got on the bus to the airport. It was a pretty long flight home but we made it home today at 4 in the morning. I have a day of rest but tomorrow I'm starting to photograph CCAA Women's National Volleyball Championships at the Mount Royal College. I think it will be a pretty long couple of days for me.

We are all packed and checked out. Sitting in the lobby right now and waiting for the bus to take us to the airport.
Dreams Punta Cana Resort and Spa is a great place! I would really recommend it for anyone who is thinking of going on vacation in the Dominican Republic. So far from all the places we have been to, this one was the best! It did have couple of things that I didn't really like but overall we were all very happy with the resort, the food, the beach, and the hotel! I have a pretty busy schedule for the next couple of weeks and I'm not really looking forward to a long flight back but I am very excited to see our cats again.

Nothing new, still enjoying the beach! Here are couple of shots of the workers keeping the beach clean. Today was a pretty windy day and on one part of the beach there were a lot of weeds so these guys cleaned it up pretty fast. Overall I think this resort has the best beach from all of the resorts we visited so far.
