I just came back from a great photo shoot. I had a wonderful time hanging out at the pool and the models did a great job! I photographed some people at Mount Royal College swimming pool to be used for the "Rec Guide" cover and some photographs to be used inside of the magazine as well. Here are a few of my favorites. |

It was pretty dark at the swimming pool. On my blog I'm trying to share some information on what I do when I photograph, so I thought I would post two of the following shots. I used 4 x 1600 AlienBees strobes set on light stands around the swimming pool and triggered by PocketWizards. All of them were pointed up and bounced of the ceiling. You can see one shot was taken with strobes turned on and one with out them using the same camera settings. I love shooting available light whenever is possible so every time I use strobes I'm trying to set them up in a way that the light would look very natural. |
