Yesterday I photographed an NHL hockey game between Calgary Flames and Nashville Predators for USA TODAY Sports. Here are a few of my favourite images from the game.

Nashville scored first, not good for the Flames, but at least it happened on my side of the ice.

For the rest of the game I decided to shoot from the concourse level so I don't miss anything.

I didn't get a photo of the actual hit, but here is a photo of the linesman Don Henderson after he was cross-checked by Calgary Flames defenseman Dennis Wideman. I guess we will soon see if he will be suspended or not.

Nashville scored once again to make it 2-0.

Calgary scored once but it wasn't enough. Nashville won 2-1.

In the morning we visited The Little Gym here in Airdrie, where they had a little showcase for parents to come and see some skills kids learn at a sports class. I took my camera with me and here are a few of my favourite photographs :)

It was time to showcase some soccer skills. Oliver did great!

This morning I spent some time in my photo studio, where I took a few portraits for Airdrie Life magazine.

So far January have been pretty busy for me with photographing NHL hockey for USA TODAY Sports... so far I photographed 6 hockey games and to spare you from having so many hockey related posts I decided to just do one blog post with some of my favourite photographs from these games :)

This month I traveled to Edmonton a couple of times to photograph a few hockey games there.

I was happy to have a chance to photograph a couple of games with this hockey legend... Jaromir Jagr :)

It is this time of the year again.. The Motorcycle Show!!! If you will have some time this weekend, for sure do go visit! Yesterday Tracy, Oliver and I spent some time at the show and here are a few of my favourite photographs :)

I'm not in a market for an adventure bike, but if I were, I would take a look at this Honda Africa Twin bike.. looked very nice!

My favourite bikes are still Moto Guzzi and other Italian bikes like Vespa and Ducati, they just have so much style... But there were some very nice BMW bikes out there :) I think if I was looking for a new bike right now it would be either Moto Guzzi or BMW.

Good thing that I had some time to take photographs and look around before Tracy and Oliver showed up. This little guy was so excited and ran from bike to bike the whole time :)
