MARCH 9, 2010 | Airdrie Photographer | AirdrieLIFE Magazine

I was sick for a while and didn't post anything here so I thought I would post a little something :) Yesterday the new issue of AirdrieLIFE magazine came out and one of my images was used on the cover. Also in this issue there is a special wedding LIFE section with some of my wedding photographs. They featured one of my weddings that I photographed a while ago of a local Airdrie couple. You can see more photographs from their wedding in this slideshow that I made for them.

There are many of my photographs in this issue, many of them you probably remember from my previous blog posts, and the magazine is an interesting read so for sure get a copy and check it out!

Well with all the calculations, its a tie between "Lime" and "Candles" with 9 votes each, and "I do" comes in 3rd with 7 votes. Thank you very much everybody! About wax... I had everything set up before I did it and took it very fast. There was no wax on the rings.

My fave is the the I Do (then Lime)--though I like the candle pic I feel too worried for the rings--hopefully you cleaned them off for the couple really good ;) I mean you cannot risk the couples rings just for the perfect shot, hehehehe!

MY FAVORITE RING PIC IS THE LIME (GREAT PIC) AND SECOND IS THE COFFEE BEANS.... MY LEAST FAVORITE IS THE RED CANDLES AND THE CLOTHS PEGS...

I had Svetlana Gurevich, a good friend of mine and a photographer, help me out with my last wedding of Bic and Ken. Svetlana helped me out with some other weddings already and It was great to have her shooting with me and I had a great time! We took our formal photographs for this wedding in Calgary at the Lindsay Park. Svetlana also took some photos of me at work :)

DECEMBER 28, 2009 | Calgary Wedding Photography | Bic and Ken

I had a very busy weekend. This Saturday I photographed a wedding in Calgary and on Sunday and Monday I photographed a hockey tournament in Airdrie. Hockey photos soon to come but for now enjoy some wedding photographs :)
Some of you may remember an engagement photo shoot that I did with Bic and Ken on October 7th, 2009. The bride and girls were getting ready at the Fairmont Palliser Hotel in Calgary and the ceremony was also at the same hotel. The Fairmont Palliser Hotel is great for weddings, its so beautiful!

We got very lucky with the weather for this wedding, it was sunny and not too cold. The wedding party was great and we spent some time outside taking some great shots!

For the reception we headed to the Regency Palace restaurant in downtown Calgary. I shot a few weddings there and it was always great!

NOVEMBER 16, 2009 | Cochrane Wedding Photographer | GlenEagles Golf Course

Here are a few of my favourite photographs from Curtis and Lori's wedding that I photographed this Saturday. The ceremony and reception were at the GlenEagles golf course in Cochrane.
